Carter's Outpost has suspended regular operations during this time, and currently operating on an extremely limited basis due to COVID-19 restrictions. The river is open for outdoor activity, including exercise and fishing provided that individuals comply with social distancing guidelines requirements.
Due to these restrictions all of our main river trips are self-shuttle until further notice. We are reassessing this weekly based on guidance provided by appropriate Federal, State, and Local officials.
Based on the current restrictions we can only offer trips the following way:
Equipment Rental Only – If your group can do your own boat shuttle transportation, you can rent a kayak, tandem kayak or River Raft and run your own trip. Guests will need to reserve boat trips on line, fill out waivers for everyone that will be using the equipment, and pay at time of pick up. We will have the boats available for pick-up at the time selected. Please call for long term extended rentals at a greatly discounted rate.
We will resume our normal operations when its safe and we are permitted too.
