Our Equipment Rental Only option is for experienced customers that just want to rent a boat and have the ability to safely transport it on their own to and from the river. This is also a good option for a group that has their own boats and occasionally needs to rent additional boats for visiting guests. This service includes rental of the boat, paddle, and life jackets for the day but does NOT include any shuttles of any kind. This is for experienced paddlers that know the river, that know the launch and take out points, and have the vehicle to safely transport the boats on their own. If you are new to paddling you should book a Reservation + Shuttle the first couple times where Carter's Outpost can handle the shuttles, pick ups, and safety briefings. Customers can choose a drop off/pick up times of 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, or call to request a custom pickup time.
